Turek of Hawaii

Frank Turek worked as a caricature and sketch artist before World War II. After the war ended, he started getting recognition for his work. He did freelance work for major textile companies in Hawaii designing their Aloha wear. He worked with Surf Line, Liberty House, Hawaiian Holiday, Jams World, Hawaiian Casuals, Sears, Penny's, and many more. On the side, he also created his own custom greeting cards and stickers. In the 1960's he founded Hawaiian Kine Kards.

He's designed vintage aloha prints that have started to come back like the Primo Beer, Makaha Surf Championship, and Surf Hawaii designs.
